Mahendra Singh Dhoni has emerged as the one man army and best captain in Indian Cricket History:
Mahendra Singh Dhoni – Introduction and England Tour 2011:
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, also known as Maahi and MSD, is the captain of Indian Cricket Team. He is one of the best players in the world today and has been dominant in performance consistently. Currently, he is leading the team in England Tour 2011 and all players in team are predicted to perform well as a unit. The squad has players like Sachin Tendulkar, who is considered as god of cricket. Consistent veteran player Rahul Dravid along with VVS Laxman is a part of this team too.
Current Form of Captain and Team:
India just went on a tour at West Indies and successfully beat them with a dominant figure in terms of results. They were dominant from the beginning as they hold the winning streak with a 3 straight wins in a 5 days match series. New Coach, Duncan Fletcher, came in from this tour and discarded all speculations regarding bad form of team. They are looking good and in form for England Tour beginning on July 21, 2011 at Lord’s.
There was a miracle on ground when Dhoni came to bowling on July 22. This was a decision taken by team when Zaheer Khan was injured due to hamstring pain. Flamboyant as ever, Dhoni bowled 5 over giving 20 runs which was not that bad. He is the captain, wicket keeper, and bowler too. The man who does it all, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is classic as himself.
Past Records with England:
India past records with England have been like a bandwagon. Sometimes, India ruled and sometimes England was dominant. Year 2006 Series saw test matches won by England which was then coached by Duncan Fletcher. He is the coach of India now and that time India had a dominant ODI win in 7 Days match Series with a result of 6-1.
With many ups and down in Cricket history, India and England are among those two teams which have been proving themselves for quite a long time. India is in good form and England has been the originals in terms of Cricket. India tour of England 2011 will be interesting to watch with test matches as well as ODIs.
