ICC Cricket Awards 2011:
ICC Cricket Awards 2011 were announced on Monday in London. Jonathan Trott of England was declared ICC Cricketer of the year while his teammate Alastair Cook was adjudged ICC test Player of the year.
Team India gave a miss to the event as they complained they were informed very late. MS Dhoni of India was given the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award for the instance of calling England Batsmen Ian Bell back from a controversial run-out in the test series. He was also named the captain of the ODI Team of the year.
Only player to win two awards was Kumar Sangakkara of Srilanka. The list of ICC Cricket Awards 2011 winners is given below:
